We are also motorcyclists

We make protective gear that we would wear ourselves. We constantly search for improvements and apply them when ready. The owner of Arai is an active motorcyclist and knows well the experience of falling. He knows where protection is needed and how important it is for security. He knows that real people will use his helmets and they are made with this in mind in addition to conforming to standards.

Pursuit

Never sell what does not satisfy us

The owner of Arai is himself a motorcyclist as well as being a company stockholder. He is highly principled and will not sell what doesn’t satisfy him as a motorcyclist even though he knows lesser products can be sold. He wears his products when riding and strictly evaluates them as a user. This reveals motorcyclists’ true needs as feedback to make improvements too various aspects of the manufacturing process to enhance company quality and to cultivate special skills and abilities of workers.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT BETWEEN ECE R22-05 AND SNELL M2010 (click here for movie)

ECE R22-05 represents the legal minimums demanded for the motorcycle helmets in use in traffic throughout the European Union. The M2010 standard for motorcycle helmets demands protective performance well beyond these legal minimums. It was written by the Snell Memorial Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development, manufacture and use of superior protective headgear for use in motorcycling, competition auto racing and a host of similar applications.
