Description

The Bridgestone Battlax T31 is previous to the T32 Sport Touring range of motorcycle tyres that supersedes the already successful T30 Evo, BT023 and BT021’s.

The tyre promises more stability and longer wear life performance compared to its predecessor, the T30 EVO. At the same time, there is improved wet performance and riding comfort. Improvements have been made in the braking distance and the T31 delivers better cornering grip capabilities in all weather conditions.
The tread pattern of the T31 features increased groove ratios on the shoulder of the tyre which allows for quicker water displacement. The centre of the tyre, as with many of the modern treads, have reduced groove ratio to increase block rigidity for shorter braking distances.

Compounds are new, of course. Silica dispersion is at a molecular level giving increased rubber flexibility. Bridgestone also took steps to improve grip under low-temperature conditions.
